Behind the man used to be a powerful faith. He could not have performed exorcisms for thirty years without supernatural aid. Toward the end of his life, whilst retired in a rest home in Rome, he revealed his secret: the Rosary. For years, he had an unpublished book that he kept in a drawer of his cell in the Generalate of the Paulines in Rome. It consisted of reflections and meditations on the rosary that he wrote for my part. In a while before he died, he gave it to his order to publish.
